GHAZNI CITY (PAN): Three militants perished during an airstrike in southern Ghazni province, while six Afghan National Army soldiers were killed in Uruzgan and Helmand provinces, officials said on Sunday.
Three fighters, planting a roadside bomb on Kabul raid in Andar district on Saturday evening, police chief, Col. Asadullah Insafi, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
A resident of the area, Mohammad Akram, also confirmed the incident but he was unaware about the Taliban casualties.
A statement from the Ministry of Defence said three Afghan National Army (ANA) soldiers were killed in a roadside bomb in the Deh Rawud district of central Uruzgan province.
Three other soldiers were killed in different incidents of insecurity in Musa Qala, Sangin and Kajaki districts of Helmand province, the statement added.
Taliban did not comment regarding the incidents so far.
