KABUL on Wednesday announced extending the summer vacation to Aug 11 due to the ongoing heat wave and the holy month of fasting.
The summer vacation was to end on August 3, according to a statement from the ministry, which said the orders applied to all public and private schools.
It said teacher training centres, higher education institutes, technical, vocational religious schools would remain closed until Aug 11.
