SHARAN (PAN): A suicide bomber detonated his explosives-laden car in front of a district headquarters building in southeastern Paktika province on Saturday, killing two civilians and injuring five police, an official said.
The attacker wanted to enter the Yahyakhel district building, but detonated his explosives in front of the compound as police stopped him in the afternoon, police chief Dawlat Khan Zadran told Pajhwok Afghan News.
He confirmed the death of two civilians and injuries to five policemen in the attack that caused damages to the district headquarters.
