<p>MAIMANA/ SHIBERGHAN (Pajhwok): Four civilians were killed and two others injured in a road accident in northwestern Faryab while a soldier of Afghan National Army (ANA) was killed in the northwestern Jawzjan province, official said Sunday.</p>

<p>Col. Bakhtyar, provincial traffic police chief, said the accident occurred in Quram Qul area where a corolla car collided head-on with a truck.</p>
<p>Three persons were killed on the spot while another succumbed to injuries on his way to hospital.</p>
<p>Separately, the body of an ANA soldier had been recovered from Gangal Arigh district of Jawzjan.</p>
<p>Br. Gen. Faqeer Mohammad Jawzjani, provincial police chief, said the slain ANA soldier was working in logistic department of the ministry of defense in <a href="/en/afganistan/kabul" class="glossify-link">Kabul</a> and he was on leave.</p>
<p>He said police had started investigations and collected evidence from the site where he was killed.</p>
<p>Dr. Njeebullah, director of civil hospital, said the slain soldier was shot on his head.</p>
<p>Militants did not comment on the incident.</p>
