LASHKARGAH (Pajhwok): As many as 1,400 recruits completed a three-month military training course in southern Helmand province, an official said.
Those graduating from the Shorab base are employees of the Afghan National Army’s 215th Military Corps, said an ANA commander, Maj. Gen. Syed Malik.
Belonging to different parts of the country, the soldiers were trained on warfare and the use of communication equipment, as well as other technical tools.
Provincial intelligence chief, Mohammad Naeem Momand, said the Afghan soldiers were capable of performing their duty under all circumstances.
