<p>JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Six Islamic State or Daesh militants were killed on Saturday in an Afghan forces’ airstrike in eastern Nangarhar province, an official said.</p>
<p>The airstrike targeted a vehicle carrying insurgents in Ilyas Baba area of Kot district, killing six militants including a commander, the governor’s spokesman said.</p>
<p>Attaullah Khogyani said some weapons and ammunition in the vehicle were also destroyed as a result of the attack.</p>
<p>The Daesh group has said nothing in this regard.</p>
