KABUL (Pajhwok): The first flight of KAM AIR to Uzbekistan has landed in Tashkent this morning, a statement from the airline said on Wednesday.
Uzbekistan’s national airline Uzbekistan Airways said the first flight was the result of the fulfillment of the order by President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The first flight also has a symbolic meaning, being carried out, on the eve of the official visit of Afghanistan’s President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani to Uzbekistan scheduled for early December.
In this regard, a delegation consisting of members of the Afghan government arrived in Tashkent on Boeing 737, owned by Kam Air.
It is planned that the Kabul-Tashkent-Kabul flights would be carried out starting from early December twice a week – on Wednesdays and Sundays.
