TSM would have media rights over ACB-hosted international cricket matches and domestic tournaments for a period of five years from 2018 to 2023.
A statement from the board said a memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed with TSM, which had submitted the highest bid.
The partnership will cover worldwide media rights of all matches, including ICC’s Future Tours Programme (FTP), bilateral and multi-lateral events, and ACB’s domestic tournaments.
The partnership will commence with the upcoming three-match T20I series between Afghanistan and Bangladesh. The series will be played from June 3 to 7 in India.
Afghanistan will play against Australia, Bangladesh, Ireland, Pakistan, the Netherlands, New Zealand, West Indies and Zimbabwe as part of the Future Tours Programme (FTP).
TSM is Bangladesh’s leading sports management company, having worked in the world cricket arena for more than a decade.
It has media rights of all ICC events and Asia Cup for Bangladesh territory as well as BCB matches and Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).
ACB Chairman Shukrullah Atif Mashal said: “The ACB is delighted to welcome TSM on board and we look forward to working together for the next five years…”
CEO Shafiqullah Stanikzai hailed the agreement as a great step forward for the board, which aimed aim to take all matches to audiences across the world.
