Paktika revenue director detained on bribery charges

SHARAN (Pajhwok): Intelligence agents have detained the revenue director of southeastern Paktika province on bribery charges, an official said on Monday.

A source in the National Directorate of Security (NDS) confided to Pajhwok Afghan News that Revenue Director Ahmad Shah Nasiri was caught red-handed while taking $30,000 in bribe.

Meanwhile, a source in the department, without going into details, confirmed the bribery case. Another official said that Nasiri’s father had also been held.
