<p>In a statement, Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said they allowed all welfare organizations specially those offering humanitarian assistance to the war-affected people of Afghanistan without any discrimination.</p>
<p>The Taliban cut off cooperation with the ICRC two months ago, accusing it of paying little attention to their inmates.</p>
<p>The Taliban’s decision to allow the ICRC to resume its work comes after two days of negotiations between the Taliban political team and ICRC officials in Qatar.</p>
<p>During the talks, the ICRC assured full cooperation and pledged to take positive steps regarding Taliban reservations.</p>
<p>Meanwhile, the Taliban asked the humanitarian organization to send its assistance to drought-hit areas of the country.</p>
