KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghanistan’s national futsal team has climbed to 21st place in the latest world rankings released by the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA).
Mawlawi Ahmadullah Wasiq, Director of the Afghanistan Olympic Committee and General Directorate of Physical Education and Sports, wrote on his X account that the Afghan futsal team has moved up seven places in the latest rankings.
He added that the team also secured fifth place in Asia, reflecting its strong regional performance.
According to Wasiq, the national futsal team advanced from 28th to 21st place globally after earning 1,194.68 points.
