KABUL Football Federation (AFF) president, Karamuddin Karim and another four members of the federation in connection with allegations of sexual abuse of female footballers, an official said on Friday.
The development comes days after the AGO suspended the president of the football federation, his deputy, the federation's secretary general, the head of goalkeepers and the head of provincial coordinators over the sexual abuse allegations.
AGO spokesman Jamshid Rassouli told Pajhwok Afghan News on Friday that the accused, including the AFF president, Karamuddin Karim, had been banned from travelling abroad as part of the investigations against them.
He said the AGO had created a committee for investigation into the sexual abuse allegations and so far 25 members of the football association and players had been investigated in this regard.
He said evidence and documents, received from the victim players living abroad, would help make progress in the case.
