Afghanistan has key role in regional connectivity

<p>PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): President Ashraf Ghani has asked <a href="/en/pakistan" class="glossify-link">Pakistan</a>, especially its private sector, to take part in the infrastructure development of his country.</p>

<p>Speaking at the Pak-Afghan Business Forum at the Governor's House in Lahore on Friday, Ghani said <a href="/en/afghanistan" class="glossify-link">Afghanistan</a> could play an effective role in improved connectivity between Central Asia and South Asia.</p>

<p>Punjab Governor Chaudhry Sarwar hoped Ghani’s two-day visit to Pakistan would help cement relations between the two Muslim countries.</p>

<p>Prime Minister's Advisor on Commerce, Trade and Textile Abdul Razak Dawood said they had held productive talks with Ghani on trade and connectivity.</p>
