Afghanistan, Ireland to play T20 series in India

KABUL to host Ireland for a T20 series at the Greater Noida Ground in India’s northern state of Uttar Pradesh, says the cricket board.

The national quad would play a three-T20I series against Ireland from March 6 to 10, a statement from the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACC) said.

The series opener is slated for March 6, with the second and third encounters being played on March 8 and 10 respectively.

The board said the Afghanistan-A squad would tour Sri Lanka to play three one-day and two four-day matches against the hosts from May 8 to June 1, 2020.

Following the series against Sri Lanka–A, Afghanistan-A will host Bangladesh-A for a series involving two four-day and five one-day matches from September 7 to October 6 at the Greater Noida Ground.
