4 arrested with 6,500kg of drugs in Nimroz operations

ZARANJ (Pajhwok): Four suspects have been arrested with 6,500 kilograms of poppy seed and hemp seeds in western Nimroz province, an official said on Sunday.

Police spokesman Mohammad Ibrahim Amini told Pajhwok Afghan News the counter-narcotics police detained the four suspects with 6,500 kilogram of poppy seed and hemp seeds in three separate operations in Zaranj, the provincial capital.

He said the detainees were currently under investigation.
