Military officer gunned down in Kabul

KABUL (Pajhwok): Unidentified gunmen have shot dead a military officer in Kabul, an official said on Sunday.

Police spokesman Ferdos Faramarz told Pajhwok Afghan News the security officer was killed in the Pul-i-Charkhi area of the 21st police district.

He said the murder was being investigated. There has been no claim so far of responsibility for the killing.

Recent killings of the security personnel and civilians in Kabul have raised concerns in the nation’s capital.
