KABUL captured the Dihrawod district of central Uruzgan province after two months of fighting, an official said on Friday.
District Police Chief Jan Mohammad Karimi told Pajhwok Afghan News said the Taliban captured district headquarter, district police headquarter and NDS office.
Karimi did not provide information regarding casualties.
“We spent night in a desert and there is no plan for the re-capture of the district so far,” he said.
