CHARIKAR (Pajhwok): Two agents of the National Directorate of Security (NDS), the Afghan intelligence agency, were killed and four others wounded in a magnetic bomb blast in central Parwan province on Monday.
Parwan’s deputy police chief Abdul Wase told Pajhwok Afghan News the explosion took place in Charikar, the provincial capital, at around 10:00am when an NDS vehicle was hit by the sticky bomb.
He said one NDS officer was killed and four others wounded, including two civilians.
Abdul Qasim Sangeen, director of the 100-bed hospital in Parwan, confirmed receiving one dead body and five injured individuals from the explosion scene.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the bomb attack.
