KABUL (Pajhwok): Five people were killed when militants opened firing on a civilian minibus in Central Maidan Wardak province on Friday, an official said.
Police Chief Muin stafa told Mayar Pajhwok Afghan News the bus was on its way from Bamyan to Kabul when came under militant attack in Doyam Namber Road in Maidan Shahar.
“The Taliban opened firing from heavy and light weapons on the minibus in the Chaharband locality killing five civilians, including children and women,” he said.
Local officials blamed the Taliban for the attack, but the Taliban refused to accept it.
