Panjshir fall spark protest in Kabul

KABUL (Pajhwok): Some people on Sunday in capital Kabul staged protest against Pakistan and in support of Panjshir Resistance Front but in-charged security personnel resorted to aerial firing and dispersed the protesters.

Some people in central Panjshir province declared to resist the Taliban after the group captured 33 provinces in less than a week. Panjshir resistance was finally broken on last Sunday and the Taliban brought the entire Afghanistan under its control.

After the fall of Panjshir some people in 10th Police District and Arya City staged protest and chanted slogans against Pakistan and in support of Panjshir resistance. On Tuesday tens of people, including women, rallied and staged protest against Pakistani.

“Neither Taliban, nor Pakistan has the right to invade Panjshir, Pakistan will be doing wrong if it enter to our province, live long resistance, live long resistance.”

Taliban Deputy Spokesperson Bilal Karimi while referring to protest, wrote: “We know Zia Masour, Salahuddin Rabbai, Qanoni, Pedram, Mohaqiq and Khalili are in Islamabad, Amrullah Saleh, Ahmad Masoud are in Tajikistan, Dostum, Atta Noor are in Uzbekistan their social media users are in west and their slaves are protesting in Kabul.”
