Woman’s body found; shopkeeper killed in Nangarhar

JALALABAD (Pajhwok): The body of a woman has been found in the Chaparhar district of eastern Nangarhar province, according to local residents on Monday.

Local residents said the body had received gunshots and dumped on a pathway.

Wishing not to be named, a local resident told Pajhwok Afghan News the body of the woman was found in the Dawlatzai square of the district.

She was taken from her house on Sunday night in Sarai Kala locality and then shot dead.

Separately, a local shopkeeper was killed by some unknown people in the KozKunar district of Nangarhar province over alleged links with Daesh rebels.

Shah Mahmood, a resident of the locality, said the incident happened in the Sajal locality on Sunday night.
