KABUL (Pajhwok): Norway says it is not pondering the recognition of the Taliban government in Afghanistan.
A Russian media outlet quoted Norwegian Foreign Minister Anniken Huitfeldt as ruling out Taliban’s recognition.
According to Sputnik, Huitfeldt was addressing the Munich security conference’s session “Afghan Aftershocks: From Ashes to Ashes?”
She told the participants: “We are reluctant to recognise [the Taliban] and will not do that.”
