KABUL (Pajhwok): The caretaker government says a Turkish humanitarian relief organisation is planning to establish an orphanage in southern Ghazni province.

Deputy Prime Minister Abdul Salam Hanafi met IHH Humanitarian Foundation Director Bülent Yıldırım, the Presidential Palace tweeted.

The head of the Turkish NGO said they would build in Ghazni an orphanage that would train 20,000 orphans, the palace said.

It added the charity chief also hinted at support for the Kabul Jegdalak Rehabilitation Centre for drug addicts.

Hanafi was quoted as saying commending the Turkish people for their help. He sought more aid for the treatment of orphans and drug addicts.
