Defense Minister visits border posts in Nimroz

ZARANJ (Pajhwok): Acting Defense Minister Mullah Mohammad YaqoubMujahid has visited border posts in southwestern Nimroz province, an official said on Wednesday.

Nimroz Information Department Director Mufti HabibullahElham told Pajhwok Afghan News Defence Minister Mullah Yaqoub at the head of a high level delegation arrived in Zaranj on Wednesday morning

“Mujahid visited the border with Iran and held meeting with provincial officials,” he said.

The minister’s visit comes two days after a clash between Afghan and Iranian security forces on border in Knag district.
