Body of 22-year-old man found in Bamyan City

KABUL (Pajhwok): The body of a 22-year-old man has been found in the capital of central Bamyan province, police said on Monday.

In a statement, the police headquarters said: “The body was found in the Dara-i-Folad area of the 5^th police district on Sunday.”

It added preliminary investigations identified the victim as Abdul Rahman, son of Haji Ayub, resident of the Dokani area of Bamyan City.

The police statement said the man’s body had been put in a sack and placed under a culvert. A probe is underway to ascertain the motive behind the murder.
