KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghanistan for the first time exported more than 100 tonnes of A4 paper to Kazakhstan, according to the Ministry of Commerce and Industries (MoCI) on Friday.
Navid Hakimi, Operation Director of Baheer Group, told Pajhwok Afghan News the first shipment of A4 paper exported to Kazakhstan on Thursday.
“One and a half year back we started A4 production and pushed Afghanistan to self-reliance and for the first time we exported A4 paper to outside the country,” he said.
Referring to the fact that Baheer Group produced daily 70 to 120 tonnes of paper, Hakimi said in the near future A4 paper would be exported to Uzbekistan and other countries too.
