KABUL (Pajhwok): Security forces have arrested mastermind behind deadly attack inside a mosque in Mazar-i-Sharif, the capital of northern Balkh province, an official said on Friday.
Abdul Nafai Takor, spokesperson for the MoI on his twitter handle wrote: “Our forces have arrested Abdul Hameed Sangaryar, mastermind behind Thursday Mazar-i-Sharif attack, in the Charharbolok district.”
He did not provide more detail in this regard.
Tens of people were killed and scores other injured in series of blasts on Thursday in Kabul, Balkh, Kunduz and Nangarhar province.
Daesh claimed responsibility for Thursday bombing in Mazar-i-Sharif Mosque in which 12 people were killed and 31 others injured.
