MAZAR-I-SHARIF (Pajhwok): At least nine people were killed and 13 others injured in two separate blasts in Mazar-i-Sharif, the capital of northern Balkh province, on Thursday evening, an official said
Police Spokesperson Mohammad Asif Waziri said the balsts took place at around 7:00pm in the limits of third and 10th police districts of the city. Explosives materials were planted in cars, he added.
He said nine people were killed and 13 others injured in the explosions. No group claimed responsibility for the blasts.
