MAIDAN SHAHR (Pajhwok): A man was killed and a woman wounded after being struck by a vehicle in this capital city of central Maidan Wardak province on Monday, the provincial Public Health Department said.
The incident happened at about 3:30pm on a bridge a few kilometers away from the governor’s house, Public Health Director Dr. Mohammad Zark Zerak told Pajhwok Afghan News.
He said the dead person and the woman were taken to the provincial capital and the woman was said to be in stable condition.
