KABUL (Pajhwok): The newly-appointed deputy ambassador of Qatar to Afghanistan has paid a courtesy call on Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi.
Saeed Al-Eida called on Muttaqi in Kabul on Wednesday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a brief statement.
Welcoming the diplomat, Muttaqi wished him success in his assignment. The meeting focused on enhanced Afghan-Qatar relations.
The two sides conferred on investment and cooperation in agriculture, mines, energy, connectivity & other developmental projects.
According to the MoFA statement, they hoped for progress in the future through joint coordination and cooperation.
