NEILI CITY (Pajhwok): Drivers who drive tricycles as taxi in northern Daikundi province complain they just earn 20 afghanis a day due skyrocketed prices of fuel these days.
Rahmatullah, a tricycle driver, told Pajhwok Afghan News: “I daily buy fuel worth 180 afghanis and make 200 afs a day”. He added lack of commuters and high fuel prices had badly affected their income.
Haji Mohammad ZahirMujahid, a fuel dealer, told Pajhwok these days the price of one liter diesel was 130 afghanis and petrol 110afs.
ZainuddinUsmani, the mayor of Neili, said they could not interfere in the open market as fuels prices depended on international markets.
