KABUL (Pajhwok): Dozens of National Resistance Front (NRS) fighters have been killed in northern Panjsher province, the Taliban say.
Forty members of the militant group, including four commanders, were killed in a clearing operation in Rekha, Dara and Afshar areas, the Islamic Emirate spokesman said.
Reuters quoted Zabihullah Mujahid as saying in a tweet on Tuesday that 100 NRF members were detained during the offensive.
However, the NRF did not answer a request from the British media outlet for comments on Mujahid’s tweet.
