Karzai’s mother passes away at hospital in Turkey

KABUL (Pajhwok): Former President Hamid Karzai’s mother has died at the age of 80 years at a hospital in Turkey.

Sources close to the ex-president said Karzai’s mother had been suffering from a headache and taken to Turkey for treatment eight months ago.

The sources said she passed away at the age of 80 in a hospital in Turkey. A number of politicians expressed their grief over the demise of Karzai’s mother and shared condolences with him.
