Man’s body found inside home in Sar-i-Pul

SAR-I-PUL CITY (Pajhwok): A 50-year-old man’s corpse has been found inside his house in northern Sar-i-Pul province, an official said on Sunday.

Police spokesman Din Mohammad Nazari told Pajhwok Afghan News: “The body of 50-year-old Dawood, son of Ahmad Shah, was found hanging inside his room in the Qoflatoon village of Sayyad district.”

Dawood’s wife said her husband was suffering from mental issues. She claimed her spouse had hanged himself to death.

However, police said, two individuals had been arrested in connection with the incident.
