KABUL (Pajhwok): For the second time this week, Afghanistan received another cash package amounting to $40 million on Wednesday as part of the global fraternity’s humanitarian assistance.
The Da Afghanistan Bank (DAB) said tweeted that sending humanitarian aid through the banking sector ensures transparency and facilitates the delivery of humanitarian aid to the people in need.
The DAB leadership welcomed the humanitarian aid to the country from the international community, hoping it would be spent through the banking sector.
On Tuesday also, a cash aid package of $40 reached Kabul.
Economic experts say the international humanitarian aid has been effective in mitigating problems and has a positive impact on people’s lives.
