KABUL (Pajhwok): Commerce and Industries Minister Nooruddin Azizi has termed Turkmenistan effective for trade and transit and urged decline in the transportation rates of goods.
On its Twitter handle, the Ministry of Commerce and Industries wrote that minister Azizi held a meeting with Turkmen official of transport and aviation.
The source quoted Turkmenistan transport minister as saying that both counties agreed to form a joint committee which will promote trade and business between the two countries and discuss existing issues.
Azizi also held a meeting with Nael Alfotavich Maganov, head of the Russian Federation’s Tataristan’s Oil and Gas Exploration Company.
Azizi informed Maganove about oil and gas fields in Afghanistan and invited him to take part in the exploration and refining of oil and gas in Afghanistan.
