KABUL (Pajhwok): The Afghanistan embassy in Turkmenistan has introduced Mohammad Haroon Sayedi as commercial attaché.
The Afghan Mission in Ashqabat tweeted that Sayedi was introduced as commercial attaché in a meeting which was attended by the acting ambassador, businesspeople and investors in Ashqabat.
Fazal Mohammad Saber, Afghan ambassador in Ashqabat, in the meeting reminded the Islamic Emirate’s plan to support the private sector in Afghanistan.
He emphasised the role of trade and investment in the development of relations and economic cooperation between Afghanistan and Turkmenistan.
Nooruddin Azizi, acting Minister of Commerce and Investment, addressed the meeting via video link, he called the appointment of commercial attaché in the Afghan mission a key step in the direction of expanding regional cooperation.
