‘National dialogue needed to address Afghanistan key challenges’

KABUL (Pajhwok): European Union (EU) Special Envoy for Afghanistan Tomas Niklasson has stressed over national dialogue among Afghans to create solutions need for addressing key challenges.

On his Twitter handle Niklasson wrote: “Happy to meet a large group of @_AWLF_in The Hague with @StellaRonner to discuss their ideas for addressing some of #Afghanistan's key challenges. A national dialogue and creative solutions are needed to provide space, participation and upholding the rights of women.”

This comes that the ‘Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’ (IEA) has repeatedly renewed commitment to women rights in the framework of Islamic Sharia Law.
