KABUL (Pajhwok): The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA) says severity levels of hunger and malnutrition remain extremely high in Afghanistan.
The agency tweeted: “Some 15.5 million people are facing acute food insecurity, with 2.7 million people in emergency level.”
It also said that 3.2 million children and 840,000 pregnant and nursing mothers were suffering from severe and moderate acute malnutrition.
