Young woman commits suicide in Sar-i-Pul

SAR-I-PUL CITY (Pajhwok): A woman has committed suicide by hanging herself to death in the Kohistanat district of northern Sar-i-Pul province, police official said on Saturday.

Police spokesman Din Mohammad Nazari said that a young woman ended her life after hanging herself in the Khamdan village of the district on Friday night.

He said the reason behind the suicide was yet to be ascertained and body of the slain women buried after a forensic test.

However, committing suicide is considered major sin in Islam and strictly forbidden.
