KABUL (Pajhwok): The United Nations Organization for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) has thanked South Korea for new contribution of USD one million to support life-saving activities in Afghanistan.
On its X page, OCHA said the Republic of Korea has contributed over USD 18 million to the Afghanistan Humanitarian Fund Since 2014.
The aid will be used for humanitarian aid during 2023.
Earlier, OCHA had said that 28.3 million people of Afghanistan needed humanitarian aid this year and 4.6 billion dollars were required for the purpose.
