Man detained after killing wife in Takhar

TALOQAN (Pajhwok): A man has been detained for allegedly killing his 28-year-old wife in Darqad district of northern Takhar province, an official said on Saturday.

Police spokesman Abdul Mobeen Safi said the incident took place in Qaghni area of the district on Friday night.

The man, currently being interrogated, gunned down his wife due to domestic violence.
