11 of a family wounded in Logar gas cylinder blast

PUL-I-ALAM (Pajhwok): Eleven people, including women and children, were wounded when a gas cylinder exploded in a house in Pul-i-Alam, the capital of central Logar province, an official said on Thursday.

Logar Public Health Department spokesman Fahim Lodin told Pajhwok Afghan News the incident took place in a house in Shash Qala area of the provincial capital on Wednesday night.

He said the injured were evacuated to hospital for medical treatment.

He added two of the injured who were in critical condition had been shifted to Kabul for treatment.

Similar incidents have taken place in other provinces as the use of gas cylinders increases in winter.
