40 police wounded in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa accident

KABUL (Pajhwok): Dozens of police personnel have been injured in a traffic accident in Pakistan’s northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, a report said on Sunday.

Mashal Radio reported the accident took place in Mandan Spalam village in Buner district on Saturday when the police bus collided with a truck.

The police bus carried 50 passengers and 40 of them were injured including six in critical condition.

The police contingent was en route to Dera Ismail Khan to maintain security during upcoming general elections.
