KABUL (Pajhwok): The National Statistics and Information Authority (NSIA) says it issued more than 18,500 birth certificates and provided electronic and paper ID card services in the past one month in Kabul.
NSIA wrote on its X handle that Asan Khedmat and services centers had distributed 18,505 birth certificates to the people in Kabul last month.
The authority distributed new ID cards, duplicate ID cards, paper ID cards and cancelled more than 5,000 cards and provided services to over 6,600 people seeking paper ID cards and provided online service for paper ID cards to more than 1,500 applicants in the past one month.
Over 9,100 ID cards were corrected and 396 death cards distributed last month, NSIA added.
