KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) says 84,000 acres of state land has been wrested back from usurpers last month in six provinces and handed over to relevant agencies.
The ministry said most of the reclaimed land was in Nangarhar, Sar-i-Pul, and Kandahar provinces.
In a statement, of the MoJ said it has identified and registered 392,905 acres of state land in 22 provinces and another 390,204 acres of land was currently being investigated.
According to the ministry, the process of reviewing, approving and returning state land continues in all provinces and cases of thousands of acres of confiscated land are under investigation by the provincial Land Grab Prevention technical teams.
