KABUL (Pajhwok): Uzbekistan has inked export contracts with Afghanistan worth $44 million, including food items, construction materials, textiles and other items.
The agreements were signed during a three-day visit to Tashkent by a delegation of Afghan businessmen, the Times of Central Asia reported.
The two countries are also planning to form an Uzbekistan-Afghanistan Business Council, including 18 Afghan companies.
Afghanistan’s import market is worth $7 billion. Afghans largely import agricultural products, processed food, textiles, leather, electrical components and construction materials.
