Child killed, 12 injured in Bamyan traffic accidents

BAMYAN (Pajhwok): A child was killed and a dozen people were injured in two separate traffic accidents in central Bamyan province, police said on Friday.

Police spokesman Mohammad Khawani Rasa told Pajhwok two vehicles collided head-on in Sokhta Chinar area of Sighan district, injuring 12 people yesterday.

Separately, a cargo truck hit and killed a child in Doab Mekh Zarin area of ​​Kahmard district.

Rasa said the injured had been taken to hospital.
