Tatarstan businessmen willing to invest in oil extraction

KABUL (Pajhwok): A number of businesspeople from Tatarstan are interested in investments in the extraction of gas and oil in Afghanistan, says the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum.

Acting Minister Shahabuddin Delawar met a number of businessmen, representatives of oil and gas companies of the republic of Tatarstan, said a statement from MoMP

It said the visiting businessmen presented information about their work experience in the field of oil and gas extraction and processing. They called Afghanistan a suitable investment destination.

They said: “Our company is planning to invest in Afghanistan’s oil and gas surveys, exploration and extraction.”
