Menapal’s brother dies in Zabul traffic accident

QALAT (Pajhwok): Former presidential spokesman Dawa Khan Menapal’s brother has been killed in a traffic accident in the Shahjoi district of southern Zabul province.

Abdullah Menapal, his elder brother, wrote on his Facebook account Noorullah Menapal lost his life in a traffic accident late on Monday.

He scotched speculation on social media that Noorullah had been shot dead or hit by a car.

Meanwhile, Zabul police spokesman Sediqullah Wasiq said Noorullah met the accident on his way home from his garden. His motorcycle collided with another vehicle on the main district road.

He said the driver of the car had been arrested in connection with the accident.
